Hi Crafty Friends!
It’s been a bumpy year…but I’m back blogging. Thanks to my nearest and dearest for all your support.
Let’s rewind to my favourite time of year, when the sun was shining and the days were long…starting off with my daughter’s Hello Kitty-themed 5th birthday. What I couldn’t find I made, but because the little lady chose Hello Kitty, I was able to find many items at various stores that fit the theme.
Decor included a snack & sweets table, paper chandeliers and various Happy Birthday signs throughout the backyard.
I put together fruit kebobs & marshmallow kebobs and stuck the skewers into a tissue paper covered styrofoam ball inside of a pink planter. Popcorn is always a crowd pleaser, so I filled individual serving bags. Then we had a ‘decorate your own cupcake’ stand and mini ‘muffin’ rice treats with pink chocolate drizzle.
In order to keep everyone entertained, I set up a decorate your own princess/prince crown, Hello Kitty colouring pages, Hello Kitty pinata smash, Hello Kitty temporary tattoo area and a decorate your own cupcake station.
Two hours of fun in the sun!
